Pond and River | Classroom Lab ONLY

Grades 2 - 6

This classroom lab offers a PowerPoint presentation and four investigative stations featuring a variety of aquatic invertebrates and their role in our freshwater ecology.

This is a 75-minute program in your classroom for up to 35 students, or one class per program.

Please note, this is only the classroom visit. If you want both the classroom visit and the field trip, please select the Pond and River | Classroom Lab & Field Study package.

This program will touch upon the following Next Generation Science Standards:
NGSS: LS1.B, LS2.A, LS2.C, LS4.C, LS4.D, ESS3.A, ESS3.C

Requirements

Each program is limited to 35 students, or one class. If more than 2 programs are needed in the same day, please contact Brena at brenas@sacnaturecenter.net or 916-875-3962 to arrange a schedule.

Teacher must be present in the classroom.

If your school is located more than 30 miles round trip from the Nature Center, there will be an additional fee to cover the extra travel time/costs.
