Title: Swimming Into Nimbus: A Salmon & Steelhead Journey to our Local Hatchery
Description of Program: This program will provide an overview of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery, the basics of salmon and steelhead biology, and CDFW's efforts to conserve these anadromous fish species.
Speaker Bio: Molly Shea is an Interpreter II for the California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW). She leads education programming and public services at the Nimbus Hatchery Visitor Center and oversees public services at North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve. Molly has a diverse background in environmental education. Prior to her work at CDFW, she has worked for organizations like the National Park Service, Portland Audubon, and California State Parks in Santa Cruz. During her free time, she can be found crafting with yarn and fabric, tending to her plants both inside and out, or adventuring outside with her binoculars and nature journal.
